What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a server can place on the hard drive of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or, ultimately, the device you use to browse the Internet, and which contains information about the user's visit to the Web, browsing preferences, the information of most interest, language, etc.

Session cookies and permanent cookies: the former are deleted when the browser is closed, while the latter remain on the computer.
First-party cookies and third-party cookies: depending on whether they belong to the owner of the Web or to a third party.

Cookies and storage used by the Web

The cookies we use on the Web do not collect information that identifies you personally. The Web only uses:

A technical language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), needed to remember whether you browse in Spanish or English.
Browser local storage, to remember the contents of your cart and the billing details you enter during checkout. This information stays on your device and is only sent to ApliCAD when you confirm the order.
Stripe cookies during the payment process, which takes place on Stripe's secure pages. They are technical and fraud-prevention cookies required for the payment gateway to work; see Stripe's policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

The Web does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Browser settings
